When and how did you start BJJ/MMA?
I've started Brazilian Jujitsu 4 months ago in Absolute MMA gym.
How would you describe your style?
I'm still working on my style so I can't say that I have one, but I definitely like to play on top.
Who are your BJJ/MMA heroes and why?
I don't know any famous bjj practitioner but I can consider my coaches and higher belts my heroes and the people that I look up to.
What is your most memorable BJJ/MMA moment?
My most memorable moment since I've started it's probably the first submission I've concluded during a roll.
What are your goals and motivation to compete?
My goals are being able master this discipline, train more often and compete as much as I can. The people who train with me are the ones that keeps me motivated to improve and do better.
What does your weekly training schedule look like (including S&C)?
My weekly training schedule is composed by 3 strength sessions and 3 BJJ classes a week. Occasionally I participate to Conditioning sessions too.
In your opinion, what do you think most BJJ/MMA practitioners lack in their training?
In my opinion most of bjj or mma practitioners lack in specific strength training, which I think is fundamental to both improve performance and prevent injuries.
What are your highest values in your BJJ/MMA and training life?
I consider my higher values in training: respect, discipline, commitment, humility, consistency and competitiveness.
What do you do for fun or to relax outside of your training/competition schedule?
My passions in life are training and any kind of physical activity so that's what I like doing when I've got free time.
How has Strength & Conditioning impacted your BJJ/MMA?
When I've started BJJ I already had a S&C training background so I can't tell how this has impacted my performance. But I can definitely say I feel stronger than most of the girls in my weight division and this helps a lot.
